Mohammad Abrar Elias is a barrister qualified at the Bar of England and Wales, with a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations and accreditation as a Civil and Commercial Mediator. He has 3 years of experience in human rights research and advocacy, contributing to international reports and training defenders in Bangladesh. Abrar also managed a project under ICAR and worked closely with UN bodies on enforced disappearance cases.

Tasmina Shahtaj is a UK-trained barrister with an LL.B from the University of the West of England and a Master’s in Human Rights Law from LSE. She has 3 years of experience in civil, criminal, and PIL matters, with contributions to landmark cases on organ trading and women’s health rights. She has worked with ASK, BLAST, and the Snaresbrook Crown Court, and represented at the UNCSW in New York advocating against honour killings. She is accredited as a Civil and Commercial Mediator.
